Did you know we have a mini Costco right here in Yuma? Yep, opened in February of 2016, and we love it and shop there regularly. Prices are close to comparable but not exactly the same as Costco for most items (prices are more in line with Sam’s Club) but they deliver! We met one of the Managers (who was with Costco for 25 years), Michael Clough, Vice President of Operations. If you already have a Sam’s or Costco membership, their membership fee is $9.95.
Since Costco will only open warehouses in large metropolitan areas, four guys decided to take on this daunting task, and voila, their first market is right here in Yuma! Go check it out at Yuma Palms near Hobby Lobby. They have about 800 items in the building including many discontinued items at that great Costco value. Right now they have Callaway Superhot golf balls for $9.97 a dozen, wow! They only sell Costco items and everything Costco sells is available on the Farley’s web site, available to order and it’s called “click and collect”. You order online or in the store and your order is available in 48 hours. They have a Business Membership that offers 2% back on purchases (up to $600 back) If your resort wants to become a Business Member, they will give you a business membership card). They have been visiting businesses all over the area and would be happy to come out and meet with you and tell you more. As a footnote, Farley’s prides itself on offering competitive wages with benefit packages for all employees, staying true to the Costco philosophy.
