Liberry News—Committee

The Nyla Dossett Memorial Liberry is up and running.  We have some great Liberry Sweethearts who are busy shelving and sorting and trying to make sure that the Liberry is user friendly.

The Liberry sponsored the annual Thanksgiving potluck at the Ramada in the Gravel Pit.  There were approximately 107 people there and lots of food.

It also sponsored the first “root beer float” day following the jam on Sunday Nov. 26.  More root beer float parties will be hosted during the season.  The next one will be sometime during December.

A belated thank you to Steve Fields and Preacerman for bringing the Liberry and storage trailer up from the CSC and setting them up for us.  And to Steve for continuing to open and close the liberry for us.  We also have a new volunteer who is helping with the recycling.  We really appreciate all his help

I think that we are also still needing a couple of volunteers .  If you have some spare time and would like to spend a couple of hours reshelving books, contact Sue (Schoolteacher) through the newsletter email, or leave a note in the liberry for me and I will have someone get back to you.
